Dr. Rob Lydon

Practice Owner and Veterinarian

Graduated from Chico State University and the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After several years in mixed animal practice, he founded a successful mobile veterinary practice serving Northern California, caring for horses, cattle, goats, dogs, and cats. In 2008, he purchased Shingletown Animal Clinic, where he continues to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Dr. Lydon is dedicated to helping clients make informed decisions about their pets’ health while considering each family’s individual needs and goals. His professional interests have evolved to include orthopedic and arthroscopic procedures, regenerative medicine such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and therapeutic laser treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance healing.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lydon remains passionate about horses. Previously he was an avid endurance rider and Arabian horse breeder. Now he enjoys long-distance running to stay active and focused.
His wife, Jana is always close to his side and has been behind the scenes helping Dr. Lydon build the practice it is today.

Dr. Allison Tedesco, DVM

She has a passion for general practice medicine and especially enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. She believes that getting to know each patient and their family allows her to provide thoughtful, personalized care that helps pets live happier, healthier lives.
